Zur Verringerung der Gefahr einer Überhitzung beim Schneiden oder Brechen von Gestein mit einer Teilschnittschrämmaschine und zur Erleichterung des Brechens bzw. Schneidens des Materials wird Druckflüssigkeit, beispielsweise Wasser, über einen der abzubauenden Fläche zugewendeten Bereich intermittierend ausgesprüht. Dieser der abzubauenden Fläche zugewendete Bereich wird bei einem Schrämkopf dadurch verwirklicht, dass über einen Zentriwinkelbereich der Rotationsbewegung des Schrämkopfes eine Mehrzahl von radialen Durchbrechungen (18) an eine axiale Bohrung (8) für die Zufuhr der Druckflüssigkeit vorgesehen ist, wobei dieser Zentriwinkelbereich demjenigen Bereich entspricht, welcher der abzubauenden Fläche bzw. der Ortsbrust zugewendet-ist. Mit den radialen Durchbrechungen (18) fluchten bei Umdrehung des Schrämkopfes (1) radiale Kanäle (22) des Schrämkopfes, über welche die Druckflüssigkeit zu den Austrittsöffnungen an der Peripherie des Schrämkopfes (1) geführt ist. Die radialen Durchbrechungen (18) sind hiebei über einen Zentriwinkel von weniger als 180°, vorzugsweise 120-150°, angeordnet, und bei vorgegebener Umdrehungsgeschwindigkeit des Schrämkopfes (1) lassen sich auf diese Weise bevorzugte Spritzfrequenzen zwischen 10 und 20 Hz verwirklichen.

The invention relates to the mining industry, in particular to methods of irrigating cutting edges and (or) bottom surfaces and devices, for implementing these methods.
The aim of the invention is to reduce water consumption and increase mining safety.

A device for carrying out the method of irrigating the cutting edges and / or the bottom surface of a pressurized liquid, in particular water, using a cutting machine, includes a cutting boom 2 (not shown) connected to the bracket 1, in which an axial channel 3 is made for supplying liquid, connected with a fixedly connected with a cut-off boom a part of the cut-in head and with outlets (not shown) on the circumference of the latter.
To facilitate proper installation of the sleeve 2, the axial water supply channel 3 enters the sleeve 2 through the sealed adapter 4 (seals are denoted by 5).
